ODZ 72 Prikazka bez krai

Our team is composed of 20 teachers and currently we have 250 children aged 2 to 6 years old in 9 groups. The team  is highly qualified and with years of experience in the field of pedagogy and pre-primary education. We intend to improve and increase the qualification of our teachers every year by participating in different national and international structured courses.

The main activities of the Prikazka bez krai kindergarten include organization of the learning and training process; outdoor activities and sport; improvement of the infrastructure; organize trainings for our staff and participation in EU and national projects in the field of education and training.

Apart from high quality in the educational and learning process, we directly approach and tend to work with parents. We organize sport and outdoor events in cooperation with our children's parents and also we intend to communicate and discuss every decision concerning children or kindergarten's infrastructure and structure with the parents on the parents' council meetings. In addition, we organize public opinion surveys on our website when we need to decide on certain topics.

In order to encourage our children's creativity and active life we organize a number of events dedicated to different topics as Music in our life or Social responsibility. We also organized a spectacle called Rock Opera in the National Palace of culture with our children, it was a huge success.

We have experience in the design and implementation of two EU funded projects as follows:

• Petanque project: the main aim of the project was to encourage children to be active in sport activities. All children were involved in the project and for the purposes of the project special petanque field was built on the territory of the kindergarten.
• Early pedagogical rehabilitation project. The main target group of the project are children with special educational needs (SEN). The main aim of the project was early detection of children with special educational needs. For the purposes of the project a specialized room was design for working with children with SEN.
• Road Safety project: the main aim of the project is to teach children how to be safe on the road, how to be attentive when crossing the road, or how to recognize traffic light signs on themselves. For the purposes of the project we constructed a special movable playground for traffic safety with simulative signs and crossroads.

In the WELCOME project we will have active participation during the testing phase, but also in the development of the manual.
